Wearable EMG Gesture Classification for Introductory Assistive Interfaces

Abstract

This work evaluates a low-cost wearable EMG band for classifying hand gestures in student assistive-interface projects. A compact classifier achieved robust performance on five gestures with minimal calibration time.
