Low-Cost River pH Mapping with Student-Deployed Drifting Sensor Pods

Abstract

The author developed floating sensor pods to map pH variation along short river sections used in school field studies. Repeated deployments showed stable calibration and revealed consistent local gradients near drainage inlets.
